Privacy Policy

Showcount (showcount.app) is operated by Ay Tasarim LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you organize or join an activity, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
We only collect what is needed to run an activity:
- Organizers: your name and email address from Google Sign-In, and the activities you create (title, date, time, location, capacity, positions and price).
- Participants: the name and email address you enter when you join, the position you choose, an optional short note, and your status (joined, paid, waitlisted, cancelled or refunded).
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status, amount and a Stripe reference. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: a salted hash of your IP address to block abuse, basic server logs, and a sign-in cookie for organizers. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.
How we use it
To show the activity and who is in, to send you confirmations, waitlist notices, reminders and refunds, to pay organizers, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
The organizer of an activity can see the names, positions, statuses and notes of the people who join it. Public activity pages show only counts, never participant emails or notes.
We share data with the service providers that run Showcount for us, only as needed: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments and payouts), Resend (email) and Google (Sign-In and address suggestions). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep activity and participant data for up to 24 months after the activity date, then delete or anonymize it. Payment records may be kept longer where tax or financial law requires it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can cancel your spot at any time from the link in your confirmation email. To see, correct or delete your data, email info@showcount.app. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU) you may have additional rights, and we will honor them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, stored with providers that encrypt it at rest, and is only reachable through our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there is less to protect.
Children
Showcount is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Organizers must be at least 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Significant changes will be shown on the site before they take effect.
