What Showcount does

Showcount helps people organize group activities: an organizer creates an activity, shares a link, and people join, pay if needed, and see who is in. We provide the tool only. We do not organize, host, supervise or insure any activity.

Organizers

To create activities you sign in with Google and must be at least 18. You are responsible for your activity: its accuracy, the venue, safety, following local laws, and dealing with participants. Do not use Showcount for anything illegal, dangerous or misleading.

Participants

You can join without an account. Give a real name and an email address you can receive mail at. Joining means you agree to the organizer's activity details, including any price and refund window shown on the activity page.

Payments

For paid activities, payments are processed by Stripe. Organizers who collect money must also accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Participants pay the activity price plus a service fee shown before payment. Organizers receive the full activity price they set; we keep the service fee. Payouts to organizers are sent after the activity ends.

Refunds and cancellations

Each paid activity shows its refund window. These rules apply:

• If you cancel before the window closes, the activity price is refunded automatically. The service fee is not refunded.
• If you cancel after the window closes, there is no automatic refund. The organizer may still refund you.
• If the organizer cancels the activity, everyone who paid gets a full refund, including the service fee.
• If a payment arrives after the activity is already full, it is refunded in full.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Showcount: no spam, fraud, harassment, collecting other people's data, interfering with the service, or trying to get around payments or limits. We may remove activities or block access that break these terms.

Activities and risk

Many activities involve physical effort and risk of injury. You take part at your own risk and decide for yourself whether an activity is safe for you. Disputes about an activity are between the people involved; we may help where we can, for example with refunds.

Disclaimers and limits

Showcount is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or error free.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for anything that happens at an activity. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the service fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if greater.

Ending use

You can stop using Showcount at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms. Refund rules for activities already paid still apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, show a notice on the site. Using Showcount after a change means you accept the new terms.
